Test Stand Structure
Completion Date: August 4, 2022
The engine testing structure, commonly referred to as a test stand, is an essential infrastructure piece designed to securely mount our rocket engines and their associated fluid systems for evaluation purposes. This structural system is meticulously engineered to withstand and brace against the large forces generated during engine ignition and firing sequences, ensuring safety and stability throughout testing procedures.
Constructed from high-strength materials capable of enduring extreme temperatures, vibrations, and loads, the test stand comprises several critical components. These include robust mounting platforms for the engine, versatile connectors and supports for various fluid systems (fuel, oxidizer, and pressurization gases), and integrated measurement and data acquisition tools to monitor engine performance and ignition conditions.
